So you’ve been surfing the net. But you don’t want nosy coworkers or family members to see where you’ve been. If you’ve turned on private browsing, then your browser won’t be storing a record of websites you’ve visited.
If you haven’t turned on private browsing, then you just have to delete your history when you are done. How do you do this in Google Chrome?
More after the jump.
To delete your browsing history is easy in Google Chrome. All you have to do is follow the steps below.
- With Google Chrome active, click Chrome in the menu bar on top of the screen.
- Click Clear Browsing Data. Google Chrome will open a tab showing you options on what to delete.
- Check Clear browsing history and others that you want to erase. Aside from the browsing history, you can also clear download history, empty the Google Chrome Cache, delete cookies, clear saved passwords, and clear autofill form data.
- When you’ve made your choice, click the Clear Browsing Data button.
That’s it. You may now sleep soundly knowing that you have covered your browsing tracks in Google Chrome.
